The Woolly Brew……
Such an amazing wee wool shop I found in Pittenweem The Woolly Brew

I visited there (twice) last week when we were down in Fife for a break, such a fab wee boutique and the lassies that work there are so helpful and lovely to chat with.
There was the most lovely selection of Debblie Bliss & Rico wools and many many more.  It was so easy to spend lots of time pouring over the different yarns and different colours…….too many to pick from – hence the 2 visits I had to make (much to the husband’s dismay!)

Well worth a visit if you’re in the Fife area!

* UNFORTUNATELY I AM UNABLE TO ACCEPT  REVIEW REQUESTS AT PRESENT.  I AM HAPPY TO BE PART OF BLOG TOURS THOUGH, SO IF YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO JOIN YOUR BLOG TOUR (NO REVIEWS UNLESS WE’VE ALREADY AGREED ON ONE, CONTENT ONLY POSTS) THEN PLEASE GET IN TOUCH *

About Me

A book addiction would be a kind way to describe my relationship with books, I enjoy reading and have done from an early age.  A day I don’t get any reading done is a sad day.

That said, I do have a toddler and two dogs, so they tend to take up some of my reading time but I like a challenge.  I’ve been known to knit whilst my Kindle is perched next to me, where there’s a will there’s a way!

I decided to start blogging about books and reading as well as random musings because I wanted to share my love of a good book with others.  I enjoy reading other blogs and reviews of books too, if you have a blog or review you want to share please get in touch!

My favourite books to read are crime, thrillers, mystery and police procedurals, but I do like to change pace and read something completely different now and again, sometimes contemporary fiction provides a little light relief.

Please bear in mind that this blog is a work in progress, it should hopefully improve as time goes on and I work out what I’m trying to do, so patience is much appreciated.  This blog is a hobby, reading is a passion and not something I do full time (I am a mother and wife and these take priority).

Review Policy

I’m happy to read and review books from authors/ publishers.  Please feel free to contact me via email (tattoostars77@gmail.com) or twitter (@TheQuietKnitter) and give me the necessary details. I cannot guarantee I will accept a request to read a book, especially if it’s not in my preferred genre, please do not be offended if this is the case.

I accept books to review in the following formats:

  • Mobi
  • Kindle
  • Hardback
  • Paperback

I prefer to read my favoured genres:

  • Crime
  • Thriller
  • Police Procedural
  • Mystery
  • Suspense
  • Thriller
  • Contemporary Fiction

If I accept your book to review, I will try to give you an estimate of when to expect a review.  Once the review is written, I will contact you with links for blog, and Goodreads.  Reviews are also posted on Amazon.
Where I feel that I cannot write a good review for a book, cannot finish a book, or simply do not enjoy the book,  I will contact the sender to advise of this and the reasons why.
